ubud writers festival

Breaking the Ice
First-time writers discuss the highs and lows of writing and publishing their first books. Featuring: Andrew Lam, Claire Scobie, Jan Cornall, Shalini Akhil. Moderator: Nury Vittachi.

Debate: ‘Who Does it Better?’
Join us for this fiery debate as a panel of the Festival’s lustiest and most romantic novelists and poets show us who is better at writing about love, longing and desire - is it poets or novelists?
