hello there! it's been a while, but i have some writing news - i currently have two new (non-fiction!) pieces on the shelves, both housed comfortably within anthologies whose themes couldn't be further apart, though interestingly both have a maternal bent...
firstly, a piece called 'my many grandmothers' in an anthology called grandma magic, full of stories by and about grandmothers. mine is about a few of the many grandmothers and grandmother-figures i have had in my life.
second, a shorter piece called 'cringe carousel chronicles' in your mother would be proud, an anthology chock full of colourful, touching and funny 'true tales of mayhem and misadventure'. all proceeds from the sales of this anthology go to the mirabel foundation, so buy yourself a copy and a few for your friends! there are some real rip-snorters in here which i am sure you'd all enjoy :)
